I've seen the first 4 episodes of Doctor Who's 5th season and I have to say I'm 100% thrilled with Eleven's performance! I was skeptical like a lot of people but I think that was mostly because I just loved Ten and couldn't imagine enjoying the show in the same way without him.
Well you might call me fickle [mum does, quite a lot actually] but I love Eleven's character just as much perhaps even more. I know that I'm easier to please some when it comes to TV shows/movies I realized now that part of the reason for this, is that my brain automatically fills in the blanks of a plot gap the way I'd deal with it if I were writing.
I was totally won over by Eleven with his Fish-custard! Right in that conversation with Amelia I could totally see Ten in him, and that's all I needed for him to be my Doctor. I've been watching each new episode with![[profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
sergil which has simply been epic-ness! ( spoilery stuff )
Can't wait for next Saturday! this is the very first time I've watched the first half of a two parter without having the second episode waiting in the wings. Of the two parters that have been in the new Who I thought this one left off at a pretty good point.
Oh and I think Amy is brilliant!! [seems like an afterthought I know, but as Shiny as she is, she can't out shiny the Doctor. No one can]
