yacobaNotice!: I'm so pleased to be able to do this! My mum has written her first novel! I'm so proud of her! She's always wanted to write a story but never had a compelling idea, that all changed over half a year back and she's now finished ^_^
She's posted it on Authonomy - I'd never heard of it before but if I had a finished novel I think I'd definitely be posting it there. It gives you the instant feedback that you can get with fanfiction but it won't effect you ability to publish the story later, you can even find agents through this site.
In any case mum has given me permission to share a link to the site with all of you here, and I'm thrilled to do this! [don't need to be a member of the site to read the works there]

As a baby, Kaylee’s family was murdered and she stolen away to Whitefall castle. There, her powers were bound using a blood magic imbued golden armband by evil King Almon. He wanted her powers for his own dire purposes.
The Guardians rescued the baby and hid her in the Mortalrealm under the care of the youthful-looking Guardian, Morgan.
Having grown up on the run, Kaylee was lonely, but she had always had the love of Morgan, who had been like a big brother to her. Lately something has changed. Morgan had grown distant.
Morgan may have stopped aging at 17, but he was actually 169 years old to Kaylee’s 15 and a half years. She was still too young for him to claim.
With a Dark Elf maneuvering to use Kaylee’s power for his own means; the deadly and always successful Elvish assassins known as the Ku’val hunting her, the Fey and Changelings all maneuvering to get to her can Morgan protect Kaylee and help her gain her freedom while at the same time resisting the powerful attraction that exists between them?
